NOW HIRING – SOUS CHEF

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations within a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate must possess strong culinary expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in planning and managing daily kitchen operations
Supervise food preparation, cooking, and presentation standards
Coordinate kitchen activities during service periods
Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and food quality
Monitor food production to maintain high-quality output
Supervise, train, and support kitchen assistants and junior staff
Enforce food hygiene, safety, and proper storage standards
Assist with menu planning, recipe development, inventory, and waste control
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Kitchen efficiency and smooth service operations
Staff supervision and team performance
Food safety and hygiene compliance
Food quality and presentation consistency
Inventory management and waste control
Requirements
Minimum of HND in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field
Culinary certification is an added advantage
4 – 6years’ experience in hospitality or restaurant operations
Strong knowledge of local and continental dishes
Excellent kitchen leadership and time management skills
Good understanding of food hygiene, inventory management, and kitchen HSE
Ability to work collaboratively and perform under pressure
